In March 2012, a tornado wreaked havoc in the mid-western states of the USA. As a token of support to the victims, AFNA did a fund drive for relief work in the area. It has donated $1000 from the fund drive to the American Red Cross. The fund drive was led by AFNA volunteer, Debojit Bora.

Gitasree Gogoi Apte, from Calgary, Canada, has not only extended financial support to our students in Assam, she has gone ahead and forged a relationship with them by making them a part of her life. She has written a very touching letter to the two students she has sponsored via AFNA. We would like our other donors to take it as a cue and extend your help from finance to all other spheres. Please interact with them via letters, emails (whenever possible), phone calls to guide and encourage them.

Mental Disability is not a disease on its own in the Children. However it so happens that certain people are born with this hardship & to care for these person one requires a lot of devotion. With this noble intention, Sky Rehab was established in First of August 2001 with the broad objective of complete care and management of the disabled.
We as a civilization have epic challenges before us; climate change is the one of the principal issues facing humanity in our day. Population growth, toxics, acid rain, loss of biological diversity, depleting resources and many other problems are leading us to disaster.
